Growing in Solidarity of Taiwha Fountain House’s Generation MZ

Sandbox is a group of young people aged 20 to 34and they can form a positive self-identity and experience recovery among their peers. The etymology of "Sandbox" is derived from the concept of a 'sand playground' that provides a safe place for children to play and run. In this context, the Sandbox supports young people in experiencing various experiences within a safe peer community. Recently, with the increasing registration rate of young members in their 20s and 30s, there has been a growing need to form a network among young people. Young people want to communicate and interact with one another, and they have a desire to experience various cultures that are tailored to recent trends. In response to this, Sandbox provides opportunities for young people to plan and enjoy activities together independently through regular meetings held twice a month. Through these activities, they can foster relationships with their peers.

Members participating in the sandbox shared their feelings, saying, "We were able to become close by engaging in various activities such as room escape and team-building exercises," and "We learned how to establish and maintain relationships with our peers." At the beginning of the meetings, there wasn't much interaction among the participants, but now they actively inquire about each other and even meet outside and make a self-help organization.

Recently, Sandbox hosted 'flogging' activity. It was a meaningful activity to share social responsibility for environmental protection and lead a healthy life. We will continue to support you to share meaningful experiences through sandboxes.
